Welcome to MyDocSafe April release notes

It’s going to be short this time as in the last couple of weeks we focused on bug fixes and experimental products (more about those later)

1. Signed forms – previously they were all just called “form name.pdf”.  Now you can control what a signed form should be named.  The default name is “form name – signers name.pdf” but you can use anything you like.  Just add variable names to the widget which holds the value you want to see in the name and then add it to the name template surrounded by double braces.

2. Tile view for documents.  Not yet available everywhere but you can see them in Signed Documents and Public Documents in portals.  This is particularly useful if you share images and want to see their contents in thumbnail view before opening them.

3. Message templates: introducing public templates.  All message templates are private by default but if your teams wants to share “the tone of voice” or would like to communicate with clients in a uniform way, make your message templates public.

4. Better communication – requesting information from clients via Portals can now be done via Messages – just select ‘request information type’ and select the ‘form’ and you are done!
