iplicit, the cloud accounting platform purpose-built for the UK mid-market, has announced a new product that will enable accountancy partners to better serve midmarket clients with business process outsourcing (BPO).
Client Manager is a central administration tool that allows accountants and other partners to easily administer and manage multiple clients through iplicit’s software. It was previewed to visitors today at the Digital Accountancy Show in London.
The tool, which makes iplicit unique in its market, will provide a major boost to accountants who have previously struggled to offer BPO services due to challenges in controlling and administering client management.
Matt Lewns, Partner Manager for iplicit’s accountancy channel, says: “Accountancy practices do great outsourcing work for SMEs when they’re small or just starting out, only to risk losing their best clients as they grow.”
“The increasing volume of transactional work that these growing mid-market clients require makes it seem more economical for them to take their accounting work in house. Especially when their finance systems lack automation for manual processes and require them to constantly jump between different systems in order to manage individual clients.”
“Client Manager, underpinned by our award-winning offering, will now enable our accountancy partners to retain and grow their midmarket client base by continuing to offer them BPO services, from one central place, as these clients grow and scale. Partners will be able to easily access their different clients’ iplicit ‘environments’ – without having to log in and out of different domains or remember different usernames and passwords – all through the use of single sign-on.”
Iplicit’s new Client Manager features will allow accountancy practices to:
Easily onboard and authorise users by assigning them the right level of permission across their client base
Grant new starters access to multiple clients in bulk – as well as revoke access for outgoing employees
Group and manage clients by industry, office, manager or in any other way – with the same client existing in multiple groups
Copy live systems into sandbox environments and vice versa, to allow users to run tests or try new features without affecting live data
View and monitor data usage and metrics for individual client environments within Client Manager to assist with audit and discrepancy identification
Paul Sparkes, Chief Product Officer at iplicit adds: “We are excited to have unveiled iplicit’s Client Manager at DAS this year – a powerful and flexible tool unlike anything else available on the market.”
“Client Manager is a vital part of our product for accountancy practices looking to offer BPO services to their midmarket client base. Many of the UKs most progressive firms have already identified iplicit as the leading system of choice for midmarket organisations. Client Manager takes this a step further by allowing those practices to manage and
administer those clients from a central platform, making iplicit uniquely powerful in its market.”
“Client Manager was purpose-built for accountants offering BPO services, but it will also prove to be immensely useful to iplicit’s implementation partners and resellers in due course.”
