FYI Announces New "Run Automation from Lists" Feature for Pro and Elite Plans

FYI has introduced a new feature allowing users to run Automations directly from Lists, now available to all practices using the platform. This enhancement simplifies the execution of manual processes by enabling users to select specific clients, jobs, or documents and initiate the required automation in a few clicks.

With the appropriate permissions, users will see a "Run Automation" button on FYI's "Clients," "Jobs," and "Documents" Lists. This functionality is accessible from both the toolbar and the right-click menu, including within Workspaces like the Client - Documents list.

This new feature applies exclusively to manual automations, as scheduled processes will continue running based on their established intervals. For Automations to be available from Lists, the "From List" option must be enabled in the Automation's settings.

Eligibility and Permissions

The "Run from Lists" feature is available to practices on the Pro and Elite plans that have access to Automation processes. To utilize this capability, users must be either an FYI Admin or part of a User Group with the "Run Automations from List" permission enabled.

Implementation Guidance

FYI Admins or users with the authority to manage Automations can begin setting up manual Automations for List-based execution. For setup instructions, users can refer to FYI’s guides on "Setting up Custom Processes" and "Managing User Groups."
